Events
Valencia holds one of the most funny and weird festival in the world, which is called La Tomatina and it actually is a tomato fight. This takes place in the town of Bunol and everybody has tomatoes as ammunition and they just throw the tomatoes at each other. Don’t worry, tomatoes are not very painful when hitting the target, and by that I mean you. The only problem you might get is if a rotten tomato comes directly at your face! Participate, it’s harmless.
The Holy Christian week and some other Catholic events are very colorful and you should visit during an event like this.
Annual also is the Formula 1 European Grand Prix which brings a lot of posh and money to be spent in the city with it.
The most popular event of Car Rental Valencia is Las Fallas which takes place in March and is a traditional celebration dedicated to Saint Joseph. Every neighborhood in Valencia forms a small group who are especially chosen for organizing the event, to gather money and finally to create a construction known as falla and which is eventually at the endings of the festival cast into flames.
Paella
You must definitely taste the local dish paella, which is a dish of meat (chicken, duck or rabbit) or seafood, a delightful variety of fish, squids, egg omelette and prawns served with rice. This is something you must not miss.
Nightlife
In the district Carmen you will find most of the nightclubs and bars, but also students gather in Blasco Ibanez and Benimaclet. If you go on summer, you will find also people partying on the beaches and at the Port.
